Mileage allowances & fuel

Match your planned distance to the allowance and agree the return fuel level.

Choose for your itinerary

Ask whether the allowance is daily, pooled for the booking or a monthly total. Record the excess-kilometre rate and whether an extension changes the allowance. Airport journeys, commuting and inter-emirate travel can use more distance than a short city itinerary.

    Keep the starting readings

Photograph the odometer and fuel at handover and include them on the report. Plan the longest trip before choosing a package. Ask for a revised allowance if your expected distance exceeds the default rather than assuming additional kilometres are free.

Use the specified grade for the exact vehicle, confirmed at handover and on its fuel guidance. Do not assume all luxury cars use the same fuel. For any electric-vehicle enquiry, confirm charging access, connector compatibility and return charge requirements.

      Avoid a rushed return

Locate a suitable fuel station before collection. Keep your receipt and photograph the final readings. If you cannot restore the agreed level, ask for the stated refuelling rate and service fee. Report warning lights or unusual behaviour promptly instead of continuing a long journey.
